Armine Asatryan, Esq. is the Co-founder and Managing Attorney of SAG Law Group, LLP, a California law firm dedicated to vigorously advocating for injured workers and protecting their rights within the workers’ compensation system. With 17 years of experience in employment and workers’ compensation law, Ms. Asatryan brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to her practice.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Asatryan represented employers and insurance carriers, aggressively defending their interests in complex litigation. This background provided her with an insider understanding of defense strategies, claim evaluation processes, and insurance industry practices. She now leverages this knowledge to advance the interests of injured workers with greater insight, efficiency, and strategic advantage.

Airin Sookasian, Esq. — Co-Founder/ Managing Partner

Airin Sookasian, Esq. is the Co-Founder and Managing Attorney of SAG Law Group, LLP, and a dedicated California workers’ compensation attorney who combines strategic aggression with genuine compassion for injured workers. With more than a decade of experience navigating every side of the workers’ compensation system, Ms. Sookasian understands not only how the system operates—but how it is often used against injured employees.

Ms. Sookasian began her legal career in 2011 at a defense firm, where she gained firsthand insight into how insurance companies and employers evaluate, delay, and deny claims. From June 2014 through February 2024, she exclusively represented employers and insurance carriers, mastering their tactics, priorities, and pressure points. This extensive defense background gives her a powerful advantage today—one she now uses to aggressively advocate for injured workers throughout California.

Now representing applicants, Ms. Sookasian is deeply committed to improving her clients’ overall well-being. She fights relentlessly to ensure injured workers receive prompt medical treatment, wage replacement, and the full compensation they are entitled to under the law. Arbi Grigorian — Director of Operations

With over 10 years of experience in California workers’ compensation law, Arbi Grigorian serves as Director of Operations, overseeing the firm’s daily functions while ensuring every injured worker receives attentive, compassionate, and effective representation. Possessing a deep, hands-on understanding of all aspects of work injury law, Mr. Grigorian plays a critical role in guiding cases from intake through resolution with precision and care.

In this role, Mr. Grigorian leads client communications and claim intakes, working closely with applicants to understand their injuries, concerns, and goals. Known for a calm, empathetic approach, Mr. Grigorian ensures clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the workers’ compensation process. Their ability to clearly explain complex legal procedures helps applicants navigate challenging circumstances with confidence.

Mr. Grigorian directs and monitors case progress, collaborates with attorneys and staff to develop effective strategies, and ensures compliance with California workers’ compensation regulations.
